Cosworth BDA engine 1600cc
Original iron 711m block, with new cylinder liners, std bore size, surface ground flame face, chemical cleaned, hot & deckplate honed, (scholar race engines).
New Cosworth forged pistons and rings, machined for 11.00:1 c/r.
Overhauled cylinder head,(scholar race engines) std valves, L2 & BD3 cams, Original mint cam carrier.
Crank is tuftrided, balanced and double dowelled to flywheel (lightened & balanced) h/p h/c oil pump, as new.
Conn rods matched & balanced, h/d rod bolts.
New Vandervell bearings, Felpro gaskets, cam belt.
Original big wing, rear bowl escort wet sump.
Dellorto 45DHLA carbs with aeroquip lines, K&N filters, magard cast type throttle linkage.
Janspeed escort type exhaust manifold.
Starter, waterpump, alternator, lumenition distributor and side exit cap & leads.
Engine is freshly built and un-run since all machining work carried out.
Can supply a full detailed photo record of build.
I would estimate 170-180 HP, with good torque, fast road/FIA/youngtimer/ rally spec.
